Problem with diets is they work when your on them and as soon as you stop, back comes the weight.
It’s a lifestyle thing I’m afraid.

I found a small plate for your dinner is a good idea, if you put your meal on a large plate it looks lost and the brain says “I’m going to be hungry”. Eat slowly, otherwise the stomach can’t get the message to the brain that you’ve actually eaten. Drink water when your hungry (you may be thirsty) but don’t over do the water (your body can drown). Don’t buy the “goodies” when you shop and then your not tempted to eat them when your bored. My worst time is sitting watching the TV in the evening, if I know it’s in the cupboard I will eat it! I’m afriad it’s all down to will power at the end of the day. Good luck.

There’s no harm in changing your lifestyle to try and accomodate some weight loss. Try and do some real exercise; sports, gym, swimming, walking etc which are all enjoyable and could bring a new social side to your life.

It’s also important that you’re eating well. You need to have a balanced diet (yes.. including fat!) They recommend 40% Carbs, 30% Protein, 30% Fat. You want to keep your digestive system working to it’s optimium to fully digest the food correctly and I believe this is why they encourage that ratio. If you’re worried about having too much fat in that balanced diet, there’s a product called Proactol which stops the body from absorbing some of the fat you eat. Clinical trials showed approx 27% of the fat was stopped successfully and safely.
